Featured in Forbes: A Dream Come True✨

May 14th, 2025

Is there a better way to wake up than to see that you’ve been featured in Forbes Magazine? For me, this is like a true pinch-me, surreal moment.

I am so honored and want to share this moment with you all!

I know I often talk about the soft skills of entrepreneurship – the glue that can make or break our next level of success in our business, communication, creativity, collaboration, Servant Leadership, etc. These are important sets of skills and traits that we want to ensure we are implementing to build a business that feels aligned with our core values.

AND….

I am not here to underestimate the hard skills as well. It is absolutely your responsibility as an entrepreneur to navigate the ins and outs of implementing both the hard and soft skills. Why? Because criticality is insurmountable for you to hit your goals, still make money to support yourself and your family, but also truly build a business that you love, that doesn’t feel like WORK. We work to live, not live to work.

Hard skills (that fall under the umbrella of masculine energy) focus on numbers, sales, strategy, execution, data collection and analysis.

A recent feature in Forbes Magazine (I still can’t believe I’m even saying this, #DREAMCOMETRUE) allowed me to share useful ways to utilize and leverage data collection and analysis to build a successful coaching business.

Let me be clear, collecting evidence to adapt to what is working and what is not working does not just relate to any one type of business, but to all entrepreneurs, no matter what service/product you provide.

“Winners Keep Score, and numbers don’t lie.”

As entrepreneurs, it’s EASY to get lost in the hustle and bustle and stop doing what works. We’ve all been there at some point in time.

OR - when left to our own devices, as it’s a part of the human condition, we become reactive to situations, experiences and/or people when unfavorable events occur.

By stepping back to take inventory, we are able to:

  • Not lose sight of what works to ensure that we are still engaging in activities that support and sustain scalability and success.
  • Build from the discontent and get curious about how we can pivot our approach and process to create favorable conditions for success.
